Herno and FC Barcelona have signed a partnership in which the Italian fashion company becomes the football club’s official Formal Wear partner for the next three seasons through to 2024/25. The men’s football team, the women’s team and the basketball team will wear the brand’s designs during their trips in European competitions, in addition to the finals of the different competitions in which the teams may take part in.
The teams of Barça and all the staff will be dressed by Herno starting next January. It is the first time ever that all three professional sports teams share the same partner for formal wear. For Herno, who creates unique garments thanks to the research, manufacture and technology, the challenge translates into dressing players of very different physicality, between women and men of football and basketball players. A real exercise in style, to make everyone feel comfortable and well dressed.
The partnership between Herno and FC Barcelona was born from a series of shared ideals, both aspire to excellence in their respective fields through commitment, teamwork and ambition. They are also two brands that have remained true to their roots over the years. Barça has never forgotten its Catalan origins and its traditions, and this is worth the loyalty of millions of fans, heterogeneous and cross-gender crowd.
Herno pursued the same path: it takes its name from one of the rivers that cross the town of Lesa, on the shores of Lake Maggiore where the company was founded and has always maintained a very close relationship with its region and its highly artisanal production.
